Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts and competitive intelligence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through compelling scenario planning frameworks
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate strategic foresight into product development priorities and go-to-market strategies
- Author thought leadership reports on emerging technology impacts for internal and external audiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology forecasting roles
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their market implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend mapping
- Track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives based on future projections
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from University of Houston)
