Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across 15+ emerging tech domains (quantum AI, synthetic biology, climate engineering)
- Develop client-specific 2030+ innovation roadmaps with quantifiable ROI projections
- Facilitate executive workshops with C-suite teams to translate foresight into strategic decisions
- Author quarterly Future Pulse Reports distributed to 200+ global innovation leaders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions using our $50M innovation lab
- Mentor junior futurists in our proprietary Anticipatory Intelligence Framework
- Present at premier industry forums (Singularity Summit, World Future Society)
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (peer-reviewed journals or top-tier publications)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell Two Scenarios)
- Track record of advising Fortune 500 executives on disruptive innovation
- Deep understanding of biotech, AI governance, and climate tech convergence points
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
