Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon-scanning methodologies and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing technologies
- Represent company at global innovation forums and patent strategy sessions
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in tech forecasting (Harvard/MIT/IEEE preferred)
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA from top-tier institution
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning software)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives
