Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to create 5-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Design scenario-planning models for C-suite executives across tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Develop proprietary trend-tracking algorithms using predictive analytics and NLP
- Author thought leadership reports published in Harvard Business Review and MIT Technology Review
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state business models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in corporate strategy consulting or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing trend-based strategies generating >$50M revenue
- Expertise in STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Political) analysis
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, causal layered analysis
- Published research on disruptive technologies or systemic transformation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-back innovation projects
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis platforms
