Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives to identify disruptive trends impacting business landscapes through 2026
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with organizational goals
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for geopolitical, environmental, and technological shifts
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into development cycles and go-to-market strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into company culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, foresight consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, sustainable tech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
