Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and ethical autonomous systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary research initiatives with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich partners
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of emerging tech impacts on global markets
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen neural interfaces and biometric AI
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and government innovation councils
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants through DARPA and NSF partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Future Studies with 8+ years applied experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech implications (2018-2023)
- Proven track record securing federal research grants >$3M
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes (EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act)
- Experience mentoring startups in Y Combinator or Techstars cohorts
