You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, lead cross-functional innovation labs, and shape our R&D roadmap while maintaining a pulse on global megatrends.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, etc.)
- Partner with product teams to incubate moonshot projects with $10M+ potential
- Author forward-looking trend reports influencing $500M+ annual R&D budget
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and industry disruptors
- Present strategic insights to Fortune 500 clients and executive boards
- Champion ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or disruptive tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs within tech giants
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex technical concepts
