Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable strategies
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) for commercial viability
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist thought leaders and industry disruptors
- Drive R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused disruption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-ready innovations
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leader in future-focused publications (e.g., Future Journal, HBR)
- Experience building and managing futurist networks or labs
