Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic innovation frameworks using futures research methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch breakthrough products/services
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for competitive advantage
- Build strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley's top research institutions and startups
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and ROI-driven project pipelines
- Mentor next-generation futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning with proven 2020+ tech forecasting experience
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Track record of launching award-winning future-focused products
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures journals
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 environments
