Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual horizon scanning reports identifying disruptive trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen business models and customer experiences
- Advise executive team on scenario planning for geopolitical, climate, and technological black swan events
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring innovation maturity and future-readiness across departments
- Represent company at Davos, TED, and other global foresight forums to shape industry discourse
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technology convergence and societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and weak signal detection methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
