We're seeking visionary thinkers to decode emerging trends, develop long-term roadmaps, and drive innovation at the intersection of AI, biotech, and sustainable systems. This role combines deep technical insight with strategic foresight to position our organization at the forefront of tomorrow's breakthroughs.
As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to transform speculative concepts into actionable blueprints. You'll pioneer methodologies for trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting while mentoring a cross-functional team of futurists and data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and climate tech innovation
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on systemic risks and opportunities
- Author white papers and thought leadership frameworks on future-proofing business models
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for early-stage tech access
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining rigorous research methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to boards and investors with data-driven confidence
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing successful long-term technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and causal modeling capabilities
- Published author in futurism or technology strategy (peer-reviewed or industry journals)
- Experience with Delphi method, horizon scanning, and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
