Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify high-impact opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-ready strategies
- Produce actionable foresight reports for product development and investment decisions
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish innovation KPIs and track emerging technology adoption curves
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in futurist methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
