Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Produce high-impact scenario reports for executive decision-making boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for real-time trend validation
- Design and implement innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members with compelling visual narratives
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies like Delphi techniques and causal layered analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in AI/ML trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning (Harvard Business Review preferred)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced robotics
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on transformational strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
