Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and socio-economic patterns impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to inform long-term business decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact trend reports and whitepapers that influence organizational strategy
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior analysts in advanced forecasting methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy (articles, books, reports)
- Experience with emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects that influenced organizational strategy
