This role demands a blend of analytical rigor and creative vision. You'll develop scenario-planning frameworks, deliver executive briefings, and cultivate an innovation culture that anticipates disruption before it occurs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop and present 5-year strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Produce high-impact scenario reports and trend briefings for executive decision-making
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams in strategic foresight methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and technological disruptions that could impact our 2026 objectives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
