Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and socio-economic trends impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global business operations across 5+ industries
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with quantitative forecasts and qualitative narratives
- Facilitate executive workshops on disruptive innovation and competitive disruption
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate adaptation technologies
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation with 8+ years applied experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend forecasting and strategy implementation for 2020-2025
- Expertise in predictive modeling tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for complex trend mapping
