Responsibilities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ implementation across AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Translate futuristic concepts into actionable R&D priorities with executive stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal impact of 2026 technology trends
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio funding breakthrough projects
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical tech foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging technology R&D with proven impact on future-facing products
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Published thought leader in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE Spectrum, etc.)
- Experience with technology foresight frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies commercialized with 5+ year vision
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global collaboration
