Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and innovation gaps
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-forward solutions using emerging tech stacks
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of innovators, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology's transformative potential for 2026
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum)
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology forecasts and macroeconomic trends
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Executive communication skills translating complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
