Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption forecasts using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging tech opportunities
- Produce strategic briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Advocate for ethical innovation frameworks in high-stakes deployments
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy discussions
- Mentor junior futurists on foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology applications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Master's degree in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology roadmaps implemented by Fortune 500 firms
