Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and technology pioneers
- Present visionary technology briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Manage multi-million dollar innovation portfolios and ROI analysis for experimental technologies
- Mentor next-generation futurists and establish internal foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and implementing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, sustainable AI, etc.)
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and budgets over $5M
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government-level clearance preferred
