Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain computer systems, printers, and network peripherals.
- Deploy new workstations and configure operating systems (Windows/macOS) and standard software applications.
- Monitor network performance and security to prevent downtime and data breaches.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and maintenance projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP addressing, and hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work immediately and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
