Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) within the San Jose facility.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and the migration of data across systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data security and integrity.
- Respond to IT service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with management to identify technical improvements and process optimizations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Proficiency in networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
