Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels and report discrepancies immediately.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (including forklifts and pallet jacks) to move materials.
- Shipping and Receiving: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Load Preparation: Safely load and secure products onto delivery trucks using appropriate strapping and banding.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and using handheld technology.
- Reliability: Consistent work history and punctuality are essential.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
