Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, store, and pick orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Load and Unload: Physically load and unload trucks, ensuring heavy items are handled with proper lifting techniques.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement for consideration.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License (Optional):> A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
