Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, aligning with global market trends and company vision
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech integration)
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI
- Partner with C-suite to integrate innovation into core business operations
- Build and mentor a high-performance team of 15+ engineers, designers, and strategists
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for 2026-era solutions
- Establish KPIs to track innovation impact, measuring market disruption and adoption rates
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation leadership, with 5+ in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record launching 3+ market-disrupting products or services
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, AR/VR, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Futurism required
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling for 5-10 year horizons
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 50+ members in high-growth environments
- Presentation skills to influence stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Certification in Design Thinking, Agile, or Innovation Management preferred
