Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN), ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot mobile devices, laptops, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage software licenses, hardware procurement, and service contracts.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in the Knowledge Base.
- Conduct user training sessions to improve software literacy and security awareness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for system maintenance.
