Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, workstations, and network connectivity.
- Manage and maintain the IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of all devices.
- Configure and set up new workstations for employees, including necessary software installations.
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing critical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to implement software updates and security patches.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the IT help desk database.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required.
