Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems and printer malfunctions.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer workstations and peripherals.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system to maintain a knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to implement new software updates and security patches.
- Maintain a clean and organized IT workspace, including inventory management of equipment.
- Conduct basic training sessions for new hires regarding company software tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and complete mandatory technical training.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office in San Jose.
