Job Description
We are building the foundation for the next era of human-computer interaction. At FutureScale Systems, we are not just anticipating the year 2026; we are architecting it. We are seeking a visionary Lead Architect: Project 2026 to spearhead the development of our proprietary generative AI framework and quantum-ready neural networks.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, and capable of processing exabytes of future data streams. You will work directly with the CTO to define the technical roadmap that will define the industry standard for the mid-2020s.
Why join us?
- Work on bleeding-edge technology that will define the future.
- Competitive equity package and performance bonuses.
- Flexible remote-first culture with state-of-the-art equipment.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and implement scalable microservices architecture capable of handling high-throughput quantum data processing.
- Lead the 2026 Roadmap: Define technical milestones and deliverables for the 'Project 2026' initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Optimize Neural Networks: Improve model accuracy and latency for our generative AI models, specifically focusing on real-time inference.
- Security & Compliance: Implement enterprise-grade security protocols, ensuring data privacy and integrity in a decentralized environment.
- Mentorship: Lead a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and hardware engineers to integrate software solutions seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architecture role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust. Deep understanding of Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Quantum Computing concepts (Qiskit, Cirq).
- System Design: Proven experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with creative, scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
