Job Description
We are building the foundation for the Year 2026 era. Nexus Horizon Corp is seeking a visionary Lead Architect to design scalable, next-generation infrastructure for our flagship AI platform. You will be responsible for the technical roadmap that will define our capabilities leading up to and beyond the 2026 launch window.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategic vision and deep technical execution. You will work with a world-class team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to ensure our systems are future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical architecture for the Year 2026 initiative, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Lead a team of senior engineers in designing microservices, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with product leadership to translate the Year 2026 roadmap into technical deliverables.
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architecture audits to maintain high standards.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and technical debt that could impact the 2026 timeline.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering complex systems on aggressive timelines.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or distributed systems is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
