About the Role:
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our patient care delivery. Your responsibilities will include clinical and administrative tasks, working directly with patients and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses in patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Perform basic laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical software
