Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs measurements and basic diagnostic tests
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
