Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and day-shift staff
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate care to patients with diverse needs
- Train new staff on night-shift procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Current nursing license (RN/LPN) in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year hospital or clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
