Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to overnight emergencies with precision
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless patient care continuity
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Assist with patient admissions and dispositions during night hours
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current NC Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
