Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to overnight care requests promptly
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff for urgent situations
- Maintain a safe, quiet, and healing environment for patients
- Prepare patient rooms and equipment for daytime staff transitions
- Participate in monthly safety compliance training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/LPN certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in a clinical setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
