Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, performance metrics, and alert systems for any anomalies or outages.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates on Windows and Linux servers.
- Execute nightly backups and verify data integrity to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve critical incidents with minimal downtime.
- Document all system changes, incidents, and resolutions in our ITSM tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to deploy code and configurations during low-traffic windows.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in system administration, network operations, or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience working in a night shift or 24/7 operations environment is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license is required for occasional on-site support.
