Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance during overnight hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues for remote and onsite users via the helpdesk system.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates during low-traffic windows.
- Respond to critical alerts and escalations with urgency and technical precision.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system to support the day shift team.
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with company IT policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support or help desk experience.
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 or night shift operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for occasional site visits).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
