As the Night Shift IT Support Specialist, you will act as the guardian of our network infrastructure during non-business hours. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage server maintenance, and ensure a seamless transition for the day shift team. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can maintain high standards of service around the clock.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via our ticketing system.
  • Perform nightly system backups, patch management, and security audits.
  • Monitor server health and resolve critical alerts immediately to prevent downtime.
  • Document all technical resolutions and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with the Day Shift team to ensure a smooth handover of unresolved tickets.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software assets.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
