Responsibilities
- Monitor system health, network traffic, and server performance overnight.
- Resolve escalated help desk tickets and technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Perform scheduled patch deployments and system backups during low-traffic hours.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability scans to protect client data.
- Assist in hardware procurement and asset management for the night team.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and common office software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work nights (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent communication skills, even when working remotely.
