Your Role
As the night shift specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our internal systems, ensuring business continuity and rapid issue resolution during off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure during overnight hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for remote and on-site staff efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and prioritize incoming IT help desk tickets, escalating complex issues to the day team when necessary.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and security audits during low-traffic windows.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and workstations for incoming staff.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and maintenance logs in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift supervisor to prepare for the upcoming business day.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and VPN configuration.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts without direct supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and clear verbal/written communication abilities.
