Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight shifts in emergency and urgent care settings
- Administer medications, injections, and vital sign monitoring per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Assist with patient triage and prepare examination rooms for overnight procedures
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Stock and manage medical supplies for night shift operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication adherence
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to obtain ACLS within 90 days
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and medical software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
