CityCare Hospital is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care during overnight hours. Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during overnight shifts
- Perform vital sign checks, EKGs, and specimen collections
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent cases
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room readiness
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
