Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and incident response during off-hours to resolve critical issues.
- Execute scheduled network patching, firmware updates, and security configurations.
- Manage VPN connectivity and remote access solutions for internal and external users.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to document changes and create runbooks for automation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or systems administration.
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.
- Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and VLAN configurations.
- Experience with Linux/Unix command line interfaces.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during unsupervised night shifts.
