Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPNs.
- Monitor network traffic for anomalies and implement security protocols to prevent breaches.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patch management, and system upgrades during low-traffic windows.
- Respond to critical alerts and resolve outages to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports in the CMDB.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or system administration.
- Deep knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto network hardware and software.
- Strong proficiency with scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
