Responsibilities
- Monitor Network Performance: Continuously analyze network traffic, system logs, and server health to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
- Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Diagnose and repair hardware and software malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
- Execute Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including software updates, security patches, and hardware backups during off-peak hours.
- Incident Management: Manage and prioritize incoming tickets in the ITSM system, providing timely resolution and clear documentation.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security protocols and conduct regular audits to safeguard company data and systems.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless transitions and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Network Engineering, IT Support, or a related technical field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Certifications: Possession of CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications is a significant advantage.
- Availability: Must be available and willing to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
