Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily operations during the night shift, ensuring 100% productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, conducting shift briefings and performance reviews.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with day shift management for seamless handovers.
- Enforce strict safety compliance (OSHA standards) to ensure a secure working environment.
- Monitor equipment functionality and schedule necessary maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Resolve operational issues in real-time to minimize bottlenecks and delays.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes during off-peak hours to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Logistics/Management preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing night shift teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Forklift certification is a plus.
