Responsibilities
- Oversee daily night shift operations, ensuring all workflows meet strict productivity and quality standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with day-shift management to ensure accurate stock rotation and order fulfillment.
- Conduct daily shift briefings to communicate goals, address concerns, and provide constructive feedback.
- Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies or equipment issues immediately during the shift.
- Prepare and submit accurate shift reports, including attendance, performance metrics, and incident logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA compliance standards.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
