Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage the entire night shift workflow, ensuring production targets and efficiency metrics are met or exceeded.
- Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and train a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct nightly safety inspections and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality and inventory accuracy during the night shift, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Communication: Bridge the gap between the night and day shifts by providing detailed handover reports and feedback.
- Problem Solving: Quickly resolve operational bottlenecks and equipment issues with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
