Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
- Respond to patient call lights and address immediate needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or PCT certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or long-term care facility.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
