Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, mobility, and meal preparation
- Perform ECG readings and specimen collection under supervision
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to coordinate care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred
- Previous hospital or long-term care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently during night shifts
